Carolyn, help! I tried your evaluation test at the clinic and I don't know what to do. It's terrible! Everything was going fine until I reached question 7. Three out of four apply (I found you cannot get a Seti catheter on our National Health scheme, only private, and a processor upgrade is more effective). I thought I could battle through and carried on. Question 8 could have been tricky (but I don't have an ego) and question 9 has the wonderful "all of the above" option. Then I hit question 10, the final straw. Again I need to tick three boxes. RA and Dec mean nothing to me (I use StarMap, it's Seti recommended ;-)). Luckily my wife came in after a few hours to find out where I was and managed to stop me trying to click the boxes fast enough to get them all on at once. She says your site might do real damage. I disagree, I think it's wonderful, apart from questions 7 and 10. After all that I only scored 90 on the assessment. I'm sure, with your help, I could get my stats up but I need to tick more boxes. Please let me tick more boxes. I need to tick more boxes!
I know you are a caring person and I'm sure you won't leave me in this state. I completed the test weeks ago but I haven't been able to write until now - I've been rewiring the extension so that the Seti machines could have a dedicated room and fewer disturbances. My son had to move out but I hear he found somewhere to live so that's OK. Do you think three phase power would help? A friend says he uses gold plated connectors on his HiFi but would that process WUs faster? I don't know.
Oh dear, I seem to have rambled a bit. Too much typing - too many SetiFlops wasted.
Yours in desperation,

{ The Clinic staff feels that you need a long rest after typing that long plea for help.  A room with a view has been reserved in your name.  Please don't delay. }

This is a really cool page. By the way, I found the alien in the waiting room in only one guess!!(really) Does that mean I'm good at finding aliens? Should I consider trying to get a job related to the SETI-programm ???

{  There is a difference between finding the Alien in the Waiting Room and finding an Alien using the scientific principles of the Seti at Home program.  A long stay at the Clinic will help you understand the difference. }
Helllllllllllllllllllllllllllppppppppppppppppppppppppp Meeeeeeeeeeeee!!

SETI has control of my computer and it won't let gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. My wife complains that the computer is sssssssssssllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww and I nod my head and say "yes it is!" My boss complains that my work is suffering and I nod my head and say "yes it is!". My computers complain about not enough memory and I nod my head and say "yes!" and then go out and buy another 128 MB. Hhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp mmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

{ One of the first signs of Seti at Home related problems is the uncontrollable urge to continually press the same key over and over. Please consider entering the Clinic for evaluation. }
